Description
This 7 piece reverse action thread chaser kit is designed for re-forming the threads of glow plug or spark plug holes from the bottom up.
The tool passes through the plug thread into the combustion chamber and is then expanded to match the size of the inner, undamaged thread.
As the tool is wound back out of the plug hole, any swarf or dirt is drawn out, reducing the risk of waste material falling into the combustion chamber.
This helps to avoid the need to remove the cylinder head to repair damaged threads.
Suitable for use with alloy heads.
